Leadership Development

Mastering Stakeholder Influence

Develop the skills to work across teams, earn buy-in, and reduce friction

Getting things done as a leader means navigating a web of competing priorities, personalities, and politics. Mastering Stakeholder Influence equips leaders with the mindset and tools to build stronger relationships—before they become a barrier to progress.

Participants will explore the emotional dynamics behind stakeholder behavior and learn how to tailor their communication and influence strategies accordingly. From managing up to aligning cross-functionally, they’ll practice how to pre-empt friction, recognize early warning signs in relationships, and create the kind of trust that keeps work moving forward.

This course is ideal for leaders who need to work across teams, silos, and seniority levels—and who want to lead with more empathy, clarity, and credibility in every interaction.

After this course, participants will:

  • Reveal the hidden motivations driving stakeholder reactions and resistance
  • Apply emotional intelligence to strengthen influence and persuasion
  • Preemptively set the stage for healthy, productive relationships
  • Recognize and respond to early signs of stakeholder misalignment
  • Tailor communication to gain buy-in across roles, levels, and personalities

Actionable. Practical. Important.

Strategic thinking is a very squishy topic, and something a majority of us are not taught to do. Persimmon's class provided some structure and actionable recommendations that will benefit my career, my company, and my personal knowledge. Thank you for the time and knowledge!

Unlocked New Insights.

Amazingly enough, my favorite part was the ability to have 1:1 chats about certain topics or ideas that were shared in class with other people in the session using the chat feature in Zoom. I learned some things about myself and how I'm perceived, and shared similar feedback with others. Well done all around.
