Give your team a practical way to lead projects with clear commitments and fewer avoidable surprises. This workshop is for employees who lead projects alongside their regular jobs but aren’t formal project managers. Participants learn a compact set of techniques for coordinating the work, with minimal administrative overhead.
Participants practice on their own projects, working through plans and decisions they already need to make. A practicing consultant guides the exercises and discusses the real situations your team faces, whether projects are just starting or already underway. The workshop also explores how AI can make everyday project work easier, including drafting plans and identifying potential risks.
After this course, participants will be able to:
- Quickly help stakeholders agree on what a project needs to accomplish and what done looks like.
- Build a plan that makes responsibilities and commitments clear.
- Track progress with minimal overhead and spot risks before they become issues.
- Reset expectations when priorities change, so commitments reflect what people can realistically deliver.
Reusable Prompts and AI Skills
After class, participants will receive a library of reusable prompts and AI skills (repeatable instructions for common project tasks). A brief demonstration shows them how to use the library in their AI tool of choice, giving your team resources to apply the learning after class.
