Giving and Receiving Feedback

Make feedback less awkward—and a lot more effective.

Done well, feedback builds trust, improves performance, and helps people grow. Done poorly—or not at all—it creates confusion, resentment, and missed opportunities. This course gives participants practical tools for giving clear, respectful feedback—and receiving it with openness and intention.

Participants learn how to deliver feedback that’s timely, specific, and actionable without sugarcoating or causing defensiveness. They’ll also explore what makes receiving feedback so difficult and how to respond constructively, even in the moment. Whether the goal is performance improvement, peer collaboration, or team culture, this course helps make feedback a normal, useful part of everyday work.

This course is ideal for leaders, teammates, or cross-functional collaborators who want to strengthen trust and communication through better feedback habits.

After this course, participants will:

  • Give feedback that’s clear, specific, and growth-oriented
  • Avoid common traps like vague praise, delayed critique, or emotional reactions
  • Receive feedback with more openness, curiosity, and clarity
  • Ask for feedback in a way that invites honesty and builds trust
  • Make feedback a more consistent, natural part of their team culture
