A strong recommendation can stall when the audience can’t see why it matters or what they’re being asked to do. This course helps managers, project leaders, and technical professionals make a clear case for action, so your organization gets more value from their expertise. Participants learn to shape a focused message and choose evidence and visuals that make complex information clear. They’ll also learn to use AI to organize ideas and refine drafts, while checking for unsupported claims and content that misses the audience’s needs.
As a capstone to the course, participants are divided into cohorts for the half-day presentation workshops to develop and deliver a five- to seven-minute presentation to a small peer group. Guidance and feedback help them see how their message comes across and where changes would make it stronger. Each participant also receives a video of their presentation to review afterward, so they can examine their delivery and keep improving before their next presentation at work.
After this course, participants will be able to:
- Define what an audience needs to understand or do, and shape the presentation around that purpose.
- Select and organize evidence so the audience can follow the message and understand the reasoning.
- Use visuals to make complex information easier to understand and show why it matters.
- Use AI to organize ideas and refine a message, while checking its suggestions against the evidence and the audience’s needs.
- Deliver a focused presentation and use feedback and a recording to improve future presentations.
Reusable Prompts and AI Skills
After class, participants will receive a library of reusable prompts and AI skills (repeatable instructions for organizing presentation content and refining messages). A brief demonstration shows them how to use the library in their AI tool of choice, giving your team resources to apply the learning after class.
