Think Like a Project CEO

The expectations for project managers have shifted. Executives want to know more than whether a project is on schedule or within budget; they want to know whether a project is still worth the investment, and the decisions to make when conditions change. That’s a different conversation than many PMs have been trained to lead.

This one-day course teaches project managers to think and operate like the CEO of their project. That means understanding the business case well enough to protect it, whether the value is measured in dollars, results, or intangibles, such as customer reputation or community support. It means reading the signals that tell you whether the expected benefits are still on track and driving toward actions and decisions that position your project to succeed.

Participants will learn to:

· Shift from delivering outputs to driving outcomes. Understand why executives have moved past scope, schedule, and budget as the measures that matter most.

· Understand a business case well enough to challenge it and protect it throughout the project, including how to quantify benefits that don’t start with a dollar sign.

· Manage project performance by tracking what’s about to go wrong, while there’s still time to act.

· Communicate like a business partner. Lead with what’s at stake and what you recommend, even during uncertainty.

Participants leave knowing which skills will matter most, from business acumen to working alongside AI, and where to start building them.
